Department of Natural Resources and Environment to dialogue with businesses and foreign investors in Hoa Binh province in 2017

On July 14, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment held a dialogue conference with businesses and foreign investors in Hoa Binh province in 2017. Mr. Dinh Van Hoa, Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment presided at the conference. The conference was attended by representatives of nearly 50 businesses, foreign investors in the province.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment issued the Plan No. 117 / KH-STNMT dated April 18, 2017 on holding a dialogue conference with businesses and foreign investors in Hoa Binh province in 2017.

Accordingly, to implement the dialogue meeting with businesses and foreign investors in Hoa Binh province in 2017, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment sent a "request for answers" to  units proposing difficulties and problems related to the field of natural resources and environment (land, water resources, minerals, environment, inspection, site clearance, environmental pollution ...)  that need solutions in accordance with regulations, ensuring the interests of enterprises and investors in the province.

At the conference, delegates exchanged views on administrative procedures and public services; discussed obstacles and difficulties in the implementation of administrative procedures in the field of natural resources and environment; conversion of protective forest land associated with ecotourism; Procedures for renting land for housing for workers; Scale up and increase capacity in stone mining; mines for clay; Add artificial sand to the tax price of province ; The  price of land adjacent to the traffic road in left bank industrial zone of Da river.

 In addition, some investors raised the current issues such as: There should be inter-sectorial mechanisms to create greater openness for businesses and investors; Difficulties in terms of land clearance; Unit price compensation for construction in clearance; investment time in mineral mining; Land tax payment deadline; Environmental issues; Consider land use fee calculation; Reduction of land rent; Support loans for investment enterprises; power design adjustment.

Receiving opinions of enterprises, foreign investors in the province, representatives of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, units and departments under the Department of Natural Resources and Environment made quite basic answers explaining the issues that the enterprises nowadays are encountered. At the same time, more information on the new mechanisms and policies related to the issue of natural resources and environment are given to delegates for better understanding.

For matters beyond their management level, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment will record, gather and will submit to competent authorities to find ways to remove, modify and create favorable conditions for businesses and investors. In the coming time, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment continues to focus on improving and further reforming administrative procedures as well as quality of public affairs.

Thereby, the department contributes to the general policy of the province to minimize administrative procedures, significantly improve the environment to attract investment in the province. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment expects enterprises and investors to pay attention to the development of rural areas, clean agriculture, high-tech agriculture ... reach agreements and spend efforts to accompany the government in socio-economic development of the province in general and the sector of natural resources and environment in particular./.
